THIRTETH SUNDAY OF THE YEAR


1. 28th October the feast of St. Simon and St. Jude the Apostles.

1st November, the Solemn feast of All Saints.


2. 2nd November the commemoration of all the Faithful Departed (All Souls Day). Masses will be 6.45 am in English, 7.30 am in Tamil and 6.00 pm in English. The blessings of the graves will be at 7.20 am (soon after 6.45 am Mass). Please come and take part in any of the Masses. Requesting the parishioners not to burn candles on the graves. One plenary indulgence applicable to the dead can be gained by visit to a church, receiving the sacrament and Prayer for the Pope’s intentions.


3. 2nd November (Saturday) 7.00 pm Mass will be of Sunday Liturgy.


4. Masses on All Souls Day at St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetry, Haines Road, Mahalaxmi are: 6.30 am, 7.15 am, 8.00 am and 5.00 pm. Blessing of the graves after the 8.00 am Mass.


5. All Souls Day Mass intentions can be dropped in the Box placed near the Altar.


6. Those who wish to give donations for the Ruby Jubilee celebration may, Kindly, contact the parish office.


7. There will be half hour adoration on Friday, 1st November 2024 at 6.30 pm conducted by the parish youth.


8. The Bombay Catholic Sabha has organized Free Eye Checkup Camp tomorrow /today from 8:30 am to 11:30 am in our St. Thomas School Basement. Kindly take the benefit of it.


9. Parish Pastoral Council meeting is on Sunday, 3rd November 2024. Members are requested to attend.


10. The church book stall has a new stock arrival of a variety of spiritual articles. Please do visit the book stall and patronize.


11. Kindly note that the parish office will remain closed on 2nd November 2024 on account of All Souls Day.


12. Mass booking for the month of December 2024 will begin on 30th October 2024.


13. The Maharashtra State Assembly election will take place on 20th November 2024. Kindly be aware of your electoral place well in advance. Your vote is important to elect a right candidate for the good governance of City Corporation.
