THIRTY FOURTH SUNDAY OF THE YEAR
1. 30 th November the feast of St. Andrew the Apostle.
1 st December we begin the season of Advent.
2. Tomorrow / Today there will be Eucharistic Adoration according to the communities
starting from 10.30 am till 1.30 pm and from 5.00 pm to 6.00 pm. The Masses are as
usual. Kindly come in large numbers to take part in the adoration.
3. The Senior Citizens Association of our Parish has organised a get together for all
senior citizens on Sunday 1st December 2024 after the 9.30 am mass in the school
quadrangle. The programme will conclude with lunch. Kindly register at the bookstall.
Charges Rs.100 per person. 24 th November is the last day to register your name.
4. The youth of our parish have organised a football tournament for gents and throw
ball tournament for ladies on 1 st December on the school grounds from 10.30 am to 5
pm. Requesting coordinators to encourage your community members to participate.
The last date for registration is 20 th November. Please hurry with your registration in
order to avoid inconvenience.
5. The Legion of Mary has organised an organ donation awareness session at all
masses on 30 th November and 1 st December. Details of the same will be explained
during this session.
6. Parish Pastoral Council meeting will be on 1 st December, 2024 after the 9.30.am
Mass in the conference room. All members kindly attend the same.
7. Reminder to all Examiner subscribers to pay their subscription amount of 1100/-for
the year 2025 at the book stall. We look forward to more parishioners to come
forward and subscribe for The examiner. The Examiner Christmas special colour
issue will be available at Rs.100/- Non subscribers to kindly book your Christmas
issue copy in advance.
8. St. Anthony Church, Malwani is organizing a five day multilingual Mega Prayer
Festival called Soul-Strings with renowned preachers from 27 th – 29 th November and
the gospel music concert with Australian youth icon, Fr. Rob Galea on 30 th
November. & 1 st December. 2024. Entry passes are available online. For
more details refer to the notice board.
9. The Eucharistic Ministers are requested to collect the God’s Word 2025 from the
sacristy.
10. Fr. Nelson will visit the families of Sunder Nagar during this week, the dates of the
visit will be informed to you by the coordinators.
11. Admission for 2 years 2025-2026 Ministry of the word at St. Pius College, Goregaon
East is open, those who wish to enroll may kindly refer the Notice Board.
12. Masses for the month of January 2025 will be taken from the 29 th of November 2024.
