TWENTIETH SUNDAY OF THE YEAR
1. Today the church celebrates Justice Sunday.
20th August the memorial of St. Bernard.
21st August, the memorial of St. Pius X
22nd August, the memorial of the Queenship of Mother Mary.
24th August, the feast of St. Bartholomew, the Apostle.
2. We thank the Bombay Catholic Sabha for organizing drawing and colouring competition on care for creation for Sunday School children. God bless you for motivating our children and making them aware to take care of the environment.
3. We also wish to thank the Youth and the Animators for organizing Monsoon Masti for the parishioners and all those who participated for your youthfulness and co-operation to make the event successful. God bless one and all.
4. Novenas to the Nativity of our Lady will begin on Friday, 30th August, 2024 at the 7.00 pm Mass and the Feast is celebrated on 8th September at 9.30 am Mass. The detailed schedule with themes and celebrants is posted on the notice board. The offertory gifts from the communities mentioned in the schedule will be collected by the SVP members to distribute to the poor. Please attend the novenas in large numbers.
5. SVP will have a collection today.
6. The Pre-Baptism Course will be held on Saturday, 31st August, 2024 for the couples who are expecting their first child. The course will be conducted in the conference room from 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm. Kindly register your name in the parish office by 26th August, 2024.
7. The parish fathers and brother thank the Parish Pastoral Council members for organizing get together on Vianney Sunday and also thank you dear parishioners, catechists Tamil and Marathi Liturgy team for your prayers and wishes. You all have made us very glad.
